The highly tensioned net is placed ABOVE the water and attached to the pond surround with specially designed fittings. As ponds and water features have either man made or natural surrounds a variety of fixing systems are available on which to tension the net. This allows for installations where ponds have waterfalls, islands or fountains. The child is supended above the water and due to the aperture size, the arms and legs can go through the net, but NOT the body or head.

This “three dimensional” material (1.34mm thick) has been specially designed for tension structures. Testing procedures for both AFNOR and ASTM Standards have been adopted in our product specifications, where applicable. This takes into account the physical development of children up to the age of 5 years as well as the ability to rescue children by adults. Most of our products are AFNOR Standards certified. Pool and pond safety remains the responsibility of the pool owner. No system is designed to replace constant adult supervision.
